I started coming to zumba classes at the beginning of 2011. I had my second baby at the end of november 2010 and turned 30 in the december and decided it was time to make some sustainable changes in relation to diet and exercise so I would be a healthier fitter person for me and my family. I have lost 4 1/2 stone and gone from a size 18/20 to a 12.
What I especially enjoy about the classes is the fun factor and the variety of music. You never get bored of the routines as the old tracks are mixed with new ones and then suddenly you will get a blast from the past. I also do cardio kick which is very high energy but brilliant for burning calories and again there is always variety with the music and the different martial arts which help target different areas of the body.
